An Evening at Roseville Christmas Mansion #WhenInDavao

For the past weeks, I planned of going on an out of town trip. It's been quite a tough year, and nothing would be better than a stress-free break after all that's happened and one crappy semester (MSUan, calendar shift, so yeah our 1st semester has just ended).

Last Thursday, my sister and I travelled to Davao City all by ourselves for the first time (#adulting haha!). It wasn't too smooth, but hey this blog post isn't about that. This post is about what we got to experience the night after we arrived in Davao.

I already had a list of the places I would like to visit here in the city. Museums, food places, I got them all planned. However, unexpected and unplanned trips actually turn out pretty good. For the whole morning and afternoon of Friday, December 22, we were just stuck in the apartment, waiting for some people to arrive. "What happened to my plans of going to this and that?" I thought to myself. Just then, tita Michelle asked us if we wanted to visit a well-known attraction in this city - Roseville Christmas Mansion.

We went there at around 6pm. We were only a few minutes away from the place. The mansion wasn't hard to locate since there were signages around the subdivision telling which way to go.

When we arrived, we were welcomed by lavish Christmas decorations. Needless to say, there were a lot of people taking photos of the Christmas display with their family and friends. There were kids running around, giggling, ecstatic about all the decorations and lights they get to see, and of course, the Christmas atmosphere. At the back of the mansion is another building where you can see the amazing display of a snowy mini Christmas village, plus there are stalls that sell rice meals, snacks, drinks, and more.

One of the rare moments where I get a 'decent' photo of me for my blog. LOL.

Roseville Christmas Mansion was named after the subdivision where it is located. It is owned by businesswoman Frances Quilban, whom you will get to see at the entrance. You can find the Christmas Mansion at Roseville Subdivision, Buhangin, Davao City. It is open to the public until January 31, 2018. Entrance fee is 50php.
